Following the continuing success of the Activity Days 4 Kids Programme and from the demand we have received from Parents, we are continuing the programme throughout 2010! We received very positive feedback from the previous Programme regarding all aspects of the planning and delivery of the sessions and now we want it to be availble to as many children as possible! We have continued to expand the range of activities on offer and during all the Holiday Programmes we have a wide variety of special Arts & Crafts sessions with lots of fun competitions!

 What is it?

Activity Days 4 Kids is an initiative we have set up for children to attend during the school holidays.  It allows them to run around and try a range of different activities on a daily basis, or have some "quiet time" in the arts and crafts section.  Activities on offer will include Basketball, Dodgeball, Rounders, Football, Athletics as well as many more!! We will also be releasing details of special sport specific coaching days throughout the summer holidays for the Football and Athletics enthusiasts amongst us to spend the whole day developing their specific skills and techniques! The normal activity days programme will run alongside this for those who aren't so football/athletics mad!

When is it going to be?

The activity days are running in the School Holidays (bookings are now being taken for the Easter Holidays). The programme is on from Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th April and Monday 12th to Thursday 15th April.  Each day runs from 8.45am to 3.15pm. Children will be signed in and out to ensure they are collected safely. We will be on the premises before and after so feel free to contact us if you can only drop them off earlier or collect them later and we'll do our best to help.

Where are the Activity Days being held?

The programme is being held at Takeley Primary School where we have access to the Sports Hall and also the Playing Fields for the Sunnier days!

Who is it run by?

It's run by Sarah and Tom Coleman, two ex-pupils of the school.  Sarah is currently a Sport and Exercise Sciences Teacher and Tom is a School Sports Community Coach, both have coaching experience and Qualifications.  We have full Public Liability Insurance and also hold First Aid Certificates. We have a number of other coaches who are employed so there's always plenty of people around!

Prices

The price for a whole day is £18, or if you book in for four consecutive days you pay just £60!  There is also a 20% discount for any siblings that attend.
